High Foot Traffic Downtown Core Demolition and HazMat Abatement

Location: Toronto, ON

QMLP was contracted to demolish all existing structures to grade and removing the footings and foundations and included a HazMat abatement program requiring Type II, Type III and Glove Bag asbestos removal in various locations throughout the buildings.

This 1.8 acre property was located in a high traffic downtown Toronto area. We implemented a full demolition dust control plan to mitigate dust and reduce risk of worker exposure and impact on the community.

We erected hoarding and pedestrian walkway around the entire block as not to impede the foot traffic. All work performed in accordance with the City of Toronto noise regulations.
